Kens Video Tributes...for your digital scrabooking needs

Well most of you know that Ken does video tributes/digital scrapbooks (whatever you prefer to call them). He has posted some videos on youtube at this link and will probably keep adding some. Just wanted to give everyone the link if you wanted to check them out (the link is also on the side of my page). His website link is on the side of my page as well.

On a side note: If you know anyone who wants to give someone a unique gift please keep Ken in mind. He can customize for you with whatever you are needing and also add quotes from movies or TV to make them really stand out. This is such a great gift for Birthdays, Christmas, Anniversarys, babies, and so much more. Just keep us in mind...especially with the holidays soon approaching :) He can also transfer pictures, slides, and VHS to a CD or DVD. I know many people have slides they would love transfered because they no longer have a slide projector.

I will update everytime he adds new videos as well. He just added a funny/cute one of or cat Milo and one of me and him through the years :)

Welcome to my first blog...

Well, this is my first official blog. I decided to make a blog because everyone is asking how we are doing and how Tristan is doing. He is changing so much every day and I just cant keep up with everyone so I thought I would make a blog dedicated to our life but more so for Tristan because he is the one making all the big changes!

It's so hard to believe that Tristan is already 4 months old. This time last year we were in disbelief that I was finally pregnant but so excited. It is so true what people say. You truly don't know how much you can love somebody until you have a child. I never got that until recently. I feel so lucky to have a family now. A wonderful husband who is my best friend and who will never stop making me laugh and a gorgeous son. I guess I should also mention my 2 cats Milo and Zoe and dog Emmitt. They also complete our family even though they are are non-stop mischievous furry beings. People who know them know what I am talking about!

Anyway... As most of you know Tristan was born 3/21/08 on good Friday (also a full moon:). The first couple of months were a especially challenging because Tristan had colic pretty bad, non-stop gas, and wanted to nurse around the clock. Which meant my butt never left the couch. Thank god I have such a wonderful husband who literally served me around the clock (still does actually:) so that I could accommodate Tristan's needs. We got through that though and luckily we did with our sanity still intact. For the most part anyway!

Fast forward to today, Tristan is now 4 months! We just had is 4 month check up this last Wednesday and he also got his shots. He handled the shots well though. He cried initially but afterwards I picked him up and he stoped crying immediately. Of course he wanted to nurse right away but that isn't surprising because he is such a little booby baby! He now weighs 13lbs 6oz and is 24.5 in. His 2 months apt he was 12lbs and me and Ken kept saying that he had to be between 14-15 lbs now because he was really getting heavier. Since he only gained a pound and 6 oz I have come to the conclusion that we have gotten weaker! But he is getting so big despite his weight gain. He is still in 0-3 months clothes but that's ok because he is getting More use out of them than I thought.

Tristan has been holding his head up really good for quite some time now and sitting assisted against the couch or his infant chair but now he seems like he is trying to sit all on his own. He cant yet but he is so determined. He rolled over for the first time last week and has done it about 4 times since then. The only thing is, he does it when he is sleeping so no one has witnessed this yet. He will only sleep on his tummy and when I get him to feed him in the middle of the night he is on his back. I hope we will see him do it soon. It is still cute though to walk in the middle of the night and find him on his back playing with his hands.

Right now he loves to sit in his little infant seat and play with his books, eat his hands, and drool like a St. Bernard. And he discovered his feet the other night. He grabbed one toe first and then just grabbed on with both hands. I am waiting for the feet to enter his mouth any day now. It is very cute. We tried cereal once the other night but he was looking at me like I was crazy. I think we will try again this weekend. We will probably start some veggies next month or the following. I am excited because I have decided to make my own baby food. This should be an adventure! Messy kitchen here I come!

Well, off hand that is all I can think of with out actually writing a book! This blog is a little longer because it is my first but there will be many more to come (shorter ones that is!). Well if you made it to the end then I will update soon. Check back often! Email me at tborek1@yahoo.com if you want email notification every time I post. Until then....I'm out!!
